I read every page of your child's plan(s), write a summary of my findings, and then we sit down and talk through what I found so you have a plan walking into the meeting.

I review up to 50 pages: IEP, 504, evaluations, FBAs and BIPs, progress monitoring data.

I read it the way a case manager does: do the goals match what the evaluation found, are the accommodations specific enough to actually happen in a classroom, and is the progress data showing growth?

I type up a written summary: what the plan does, what it doesn't include, what's working, what concerns me, what I'd expect to see for a child like yours that isn't there, and your next steps in order.

Our 1-hour call happens after I've read everything, so we spend it on your child's documents, not background.

You leave with specific questions to ask your school team, written for your child.
